Senior bios: Dowagiac’s Deeana Lucio

Deeana Lucio is aenior on the Dowagiac soccer team.

Activities: Rotary Interact, National Honor Society, varsity soccer, chamber choir and chorale.

Hobbies:  Listening to music, singing and soccer.

My favorite soccer memory: My freshman year we were having an easy practice because of the heat and us girls won a bet, and the coach ran through all the sprinklers.

Future plans: I will be attending Western Michigan University majoring in business.

Awards/Accomplishments: Perfect attendance award and honors award.

Advice to underclassmen: Embrace the opportunities that are placed in front of you; never walk away from a situation knowing you could have done better.

How have you been making the best of being quarantined? I’ve still been filling out scholarships and applications for college and I’ve been going to the A.Y.S.O. field and getting some touches in.
