Pierce, Razzano led Eddies to victory

STURGIS — Derek Pierce and Dante Razzano combined for 26 points as Edwardsburg defeated host Sturgis 46-33 in Wolverine Conference non-divisional boys basketball Tuesday night.

The Eddies (6-2) and Sturgis (4-4) were deadlocked at 19-19 at halftime.

Edwardsburg’s Isaac Vite scored five of his seven points in the third quarter to help the Eddies open up a 32-24 lead.

Razzano went 4-of-5 at the free throw line and scored eight of his 12 points in the final eight minutes.

Pierce led the Eddies with 14 points.

Jack Scheske led all scorers with 21 points for the Trojans.
