Cassopolis Methodist Church offering free dinner

The Cassopolis United Methodist Church is hosting a free dinner for everyone in the community of Cassopolis the third Saturday of every month, except December.

The dinner will be turkey and dressing casseroles, sweet potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce, rolls and seasonal pies.

No reservations are necessary. Just come and bring your family and friends any time from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Cassopolis United Methodist Church has been serving a free Thanksgiving/fall dinner for the community since 2008. For the first five years, the dinners were served on Thanksgiving Day and were organized by Jamie and Liz First.

In recent years, the meals have been served on the third Saturday of November as part of the church’s regular, monthly free dinners.

The church is located at 209 S. Rowland St., but diners can park and enter the church from the O’Keefe Street parking lot, at the back of the church.    An elevator is available to access the second floor Wood Fellowship Hall.

For further information, call the church office at 445-3107.
