Frank M. Young, 72, of Edwardsburg, died peacefully Thursday evening, Sept. 19, 2013, in the Timbers of Cass County, Dowagiac.

Frank was born May 31, 1941 in Florence, Ala. to Ernest and Edna Young. He married Susan Marie Sosnoski July 28, 1962 in South Bend. She preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Era Howell, Katie Jolliss; and three brothers, John Young, Casey Young, and Bill Young.

Frank enjoyed spending time at the American Legion in Edwardsburg. He was a Union Steward with the Teamster Local No. 364 in South Bend. He liked to fish and ride around on the Gator. His hobby was Miller Lite.

Frank will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by four daughters, Karrie (Rick) Bruens of Cassopolis, Julie Davis of Edwardsburg, Melissa (Rick) Arnold of Cassopolis and Christie (Clint McIntyre) Young of South Bend; five grandchildren; one great granddaughter; three sisters, Addie (Danny) Guzowski of South Bend, Mary (Jim) Bricker of Mishawaka, Sally (John) Kraft of South Bend and a host of nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. in Connelly Chapel Wagner Family Funerals, 202 N. Broadway St., Cassopolis, for a time of sharing and story telling. Mr. Young’s remains will be laid to rest beside those of his late wife, Susan, in Edwardsburg Cemetery, Edwardsburg.
