Leos pinned for service

Two Edwardsburg Leo Club members received special recognition for logging more than 60 hours of community service.
Megan Halgren and Alex Freshour each received a “Lions International President’s pin” during an Edwardsburg Leo Club pinning ceremony April 19 at the Edwardsburg Performing Arts Center.
More than 80 high school and middle school Leo charter members received pins for logging six or more hours of community service.
Kelly Burton, Jacob Edge, Rebecca Haines, Rebekah Morse, Madeleine Newberry, Halie Rogge, Justine Rogge, Elizabeth Ruff, Jessica Tighe, Josh Udell and Victorianne Yoder were listed on the program for contributing at least 25 hours of community service.
Megan Bretschneider, Emily Cavinder, Lori Cline, Erika Howard, Kaylan Malone and Brooke Portwood were listed as having at least 40 hours of community service.
The event was sponsored by the Edwardsburg Lions Club. The Edwardsburg Leo Club was chartered in October.
