Durell and Ethel Young

Memorial services for Durell J. Sr. and Ethel Young, of Cassopolis, will be held Wednesday, July 28 at 2 p.m. at Pokagon United Methodist Church in Pokagon.

Durell was born in Nov. 21, 1918 and died Aug. 29, 2005. Ethel was born Aug. 4, 1921 and died Oct. 27, 2009.

They were the parents of Lois (Joe) Gwilt, of Ocala, Fla.; Durell (Mary Jane) Young Jr.; John (Margaret) Young, of Cassopolis; Marjorie (Art) Horner, of Niles; and Michael (Mike) Young, of Ocala, Fla.

They leave behind siblings Joseph (Pat) Young, of Vandalia; Kathryn (Dean) Sheeley, of Three Rivers; Ruth Proskie, of Jackson, Mich.; Marian Youngs, of Cassopolis; and Dennis Kinier, of Elkhart.

They were the loving parents of their children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Old Rugged Cross Fund or Pokagon United Methodist Church.
