Pet portraits to benefit local animal shelters

Drafted! 4-H Club of Cass County will be hosting a fun holiday pet/child photography session at the Tractor Supply store in Niles from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. Dec. 3 and Dec. 17. A photo session will also be from 2 to 5 p.m. Dec. 4 and Dec. 18.
Everyone is invited to bring their pets to TSC to have their picture taken for the holiday season. The only cost is a donation of any unopened pet food, which will then be donated to the Cass County Animal Shelter and the Berrien County Animal Shelter.
Tim Wallace, assistant leader of the Drafted! club said, “It’s a great way for a small club like ours to have fun, and involve the community in doing a good deed … a win-win situation for everyone involved.
Pet owners will have a picture of their pet and or kids to take home with them, the animal shelter will receive additional much-needed pet food, and our members will have a lot of fun interacting with everyone that comes in and find out that community service can be a lot of fun.”
Wearing two hats that day, club key leader, Lorenne Towne also of Countryside Photography, will be the person behind the camera.
