The Dowagiac Elks Junior Golf League recently wrapped up another successful season with its annual tournament and awards luncheon.

This year, 45 golfers participated in the 12th annual summer golf league.

All the participants received framed certificates.

“I want to congratulate all the golfers who participated and thank all the volunteers, who helped make this year’s program a success,” said Dick Morey, league director.

“All of the DUHS boys‘ golf team helped this year. Most of the Dowagiac Union High golf team players got their start in the Elks program,” he added.

Age group winners this year included Landon Clark, Matt Briney, Phillip Vandenburg, Taylor Dodd, Tommy Nate, Nikki Nate, Drew Davis, Amelia Montgomery, Dylan Layman, Christian Hess and Mkena Bolin.
