Hess finished with 170 at state golf finals
BATTLE CREEK — Lansing Catholic captured the Division 3 Boys Golf Final at Bedford Valley Golf Course Saturday.
Lansing Catholic had a two-day total of 613, which was five strokes better than runner-up Jackson Lumen Christi, which finished at 618.
Coloma, of the Wolverine Conference West Division, finished 15th with a 730.
Sam Weatherhead of Grand Rapids West Catholic was the medalist with a 140.
Dowagiac’s Christian Hess shot 87 and 83 for a two-day total of 170.
