4 Eddies named to all-league soccer squad

Leslie Boyles and Macy Stevenson of Edwardsburg were named to the first team.

Lakeland Conference soccer champion Edwardsburg landed four players on the first team of the all-league squad, which was announced on Wednesday.

Runner-up Buchanan and Brandywine each had three players on the first team.
Edwardsburg’s Ryan Rosenkranz was named Coach of the Year.

First team selections for the Eddies were Leslie Boyles, Ashlyn Chambers, Aly Mooth and Macy Stevenson.

Selected for the Bucks were Amanda Wynn, Morgan French and goalkeeper Shelby Welbaum.

Nicole Newman, Morgan French and Sam Low were all named to the first team for the Bobcats.

Cassopolis’ Bjargey Olafsson was the other member of the first team.
