DOWAGIAC — On Friday, Oct. 10, longtime broadcaster Pat Bakeman reached a major milestone as he called his 200th Dowagiac Chieftain varsity football game for the Dowagiac Chieftains Network. He was joined in the booth by fellow commentator Jeremy Truitt for the broadcast.

Bakeman, who began covering Chieftain games in 2005, has been a familiar voice for Dowagiac football fans for over two decades.

The milestone game ended on a high note as the Chieftains defeated the Bucks 40–26 in a strong showing on their home field.

Dowagiac is set to face Williamson Friday night. Pat Bakeman will be back behind the mic, this time teaming up with his long time partner Shawn Williamson to bring fans all the live action.

Fans can tune in to live broadcasts or listen on demand for Dowagiac Chieftain games through the Dowagiac Chieftains Network on Facebook or by visiting webca.st/268271.
