NILES — A classic film and its lead actor will be returning to the big screen in Niles later this month.

The timeless rock opera “Jesus Christ Superstar, The Farewell Tour” comes to the big screen for a special one-night showing at Wonderland Cinema at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30. Fans will have the rare opportunity to meet Ted Neeley, the actor and musician who portrayed Jesus in the 1973 film.

Tickets are just $5 and can be purchased online, through the app, or in person.

A meet and greet with Ted Neeley will take place at 6 p.m., with an additional opportunity immediately following the movie. Guests can snap photos, say hello and celebrate one of the most iconic performances in musical film history. In addition, exclusive promotional items will be available for purchase, giving fans the chance to take home a piece of this unforgettable evening.
