CENTREVILLE — The Niles girls golf team placed fifth at the second Wolverine Conference Jamboree at Island Hills Golf Course, with a team score of 223.

Otsego finished in first place with a team score of 178, followed by Plainwell in second with 187. Sturgis came in third with 217, while Vicksburg finished fourth with 220. Edwardsburg placed sixth with 228, followed by Paw Paw with 230 and Three Rivers with 238.

Leading the way for Niles were Brooke Baber and Miley Kater, who each shot a 52. Lillian Kline followed with a 58, and Madi Czarnecki shot a 61. Hanna Olivia carded a 62, and London Bennett finished with a 75.

The Vikings return to the green for conference play Monday at Orchard Hills Golf Course.
