Niles boys tennis falls to Paw Paw 8-0

NILES — The Niles boys tennis team lost to Paw Paw 8-0 Wednesday at home.
In singles matches, Paw Paw’s Terrance Fisher defeated Stephen Applewhite 6-2, 6-1 at No. 1 singles. At No. 2, Eric Fitchpatrick of Paw Paw won against Collin Brown with a 6-0, 6-0 score. Paw Paw’s Zach Mahan defeated Sam Lundberg 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3, while Braden Schultz won against Ryker Leaverton 6-2, 6-4 at No. 4.
In doubles, Paw Paw’s No. 1 team of Isaac Geffre and Anderson Farnquist defeated Logan Paluzzi and Joshua Becraft 6-2, 6-0. The No. 2 team of Simon Geffre and Ethan Groner won against Matthew Richards and Shawn Atkins 6-1, 7-5. At No. 3, Bryn Carlsen and Brevyn Wisenski defeated Abe Knight and Carson Pugh 6-3, 6-1. Finally, the No. 4 Paw Paw team of Jude Webster and Connor Esman won against Gavin Dandurand and Eli Chism 6-1, 6-1.
