Edwardsburg announces new assistant superintendent

EDWARDSBURG — Edwardsburg Public Schools announced Wednesday that Ryan Towner has joined the district as its new Assistant Superintendent. 

Towner arrived in Edwardsburg from the Penn-Harris-Madison School District, where he had been since 2011. He has served as Assistant to the Principal at Walt Disney Elementary, Principal of Madison Elementary and as the district’s literacy director. He also presented on P-H-M’s Tiered Literacy practices at IASP and recently Indiana State Literacy Association virtual workshop series. 

Towner received both his undergraduate and Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from IUSB.

“We are thrilled to welcome Ryan to our leadership team,” said Superintendent Dr. Courtney Szucs. “He brings a strong vision, proven experience, and a genuine passion for education. I look forward to the positive impact Ryan will have on our schools, staff, and students.”

Towner and his wife, Kim, an EPS graduate, live in the district and their two children attend EPS.
