For the first time in 31 years, the Cassopolis boys golf team is headed to the MHSAA Division 4 State Tournament.

The Ranger golfers finished third at the regional tournament Wednesday at Hampshire Country Club in Dowagiac, shooting 332. Kalamazoo Hackett Catholic took first place with a score of 313. Hackett’s Chris Ogrin earned medalist honors with a score of 76.

The Rangers were led by Dickson Samadder who placed fifth shooting an 80.  The Division 4 State Final will be held next Friday and Saturday at Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids.
