Edward “Skip” Virgil, 87, of Southwestern Michigan, passed away in 2025. Born May 14, 1937, in Niles, Michigan, Skip was known for his infectious wit, humor, and love of storytelling. A lifelong reader and history enthusiast, he had a passion for Western novels, horses, Native American artifacts, and genealogy.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan, followed by a Celebration of Life at 5:30 p.m. Memories and photos may be shared on his memorial page.
