Police investigating fatal LaGrange Township crash

LAGRANGE TOWNSHIP — A man was struck and killed by a vehicle early Sunday morning in LaGrange Township, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
At approximately 4:07 a.m., Cass County Sheriffs Office deputies responded to a car versus pedestrian crash in the 57000 block on Wilbur Hill road in LaGrange Township. Upon investigation, a northbound vehicle hit a pedestrian in the roadway. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene. Names are being withheld pending family notification. The crash remains under investigation.
Assisting againces on scene were Dowagiac Police Department, SMCAS Ambulance and Pokagon Township Fire Department.
