ST. JOSEPH — Corewell Health has announced the opening of a new substance use treatment and education center in Berrien County.

Offering services in Benton Harbor and Niles, the goal of this new center is to provide equitable, compassionate and comprehensive addiction care to the community with empathy and understanding.
“Increasing access to substance use treatment and recovery services is incredibly important for Southwest Michigan,” said Melinda Gruber, vice president for medical groups and rehabilitation at Corewell Health South. “By improving access, reducing barriers and promoting life-saving treatment options, we are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those in need.”
Available by appointment or walk-in, Corewell Health offers assessment and treatment planning, medications for substance use disorders, counseling, care coordination, referrals, and harm reduction services.
