Dowagiac softball takes home Chieftain Invite, baseball takes second

The Dowagiac softball team kept the trophy home at the Chieftain Invite over the weekend. The Chieftains defeated Cassopolis 11-0 and Watervliet 15-0 before besting Paw Paw 5-0 in the championship game. On the baseball side, the Chieftains fell to Niles 14-2 before rebounding to beat Cassopolis 8-6.
