DOWAGIAC — The Easter Bunny is making its return to Downtown Dowagiac.

The Dowagiac Chamber of Commerce is presenting the 24th annual Easter Eggstravaganza Saturday, April 12 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the James E. Snow Community Center.

Families are invited to come out and celebrate the season with a morning full of fun, photos and festive activities. Kids can meet the Easter Bunny, enjoy games and crafts led by the Dowagiac Union High School Rotary Interact Students, and visit with Miss Dowagiac 2025 and her Court.

At noon sharp, children can grab their baskets for the Easter Egg Hunt on the lawn—a favorite tradition that brings joy to families year after year.

“We’re thrilled to welcome families downtown for one of Dowagiac’s most cherished spring traditions,” said Matt Money, Marketing and Event Coordinator for the Dowagiac Chamber of Commerce. “The Easter Eggstravaganza brings so much joy to our community—it’s a wonderful way to celebrate the season, connect with neighbors, and see downtown come alive with smiles and excitement.”

The chamber thanked the Southwestern Michigan College Honors Program, whose students helped make the event possible by stuffing 3,000 Easter eggs in preparation for the big day.

The community celebration is made possible thanks to the generous support of event sponsors: Affordable Lawn Care Solutions, Dowagiac Credit Union, Dowagiac Rotary & Interact Students, Duncan and Associates, Eckman Chiropractic Clinic, Lake Effect Heating and Cooling, Luna Marine & Storage.

The event will take place no matter the weather. Guests are asked to dress accordingly.
