EDWARDSBURG — Four players from Edwardsburg’s district championship boys basketball team earned Wolverine Conference honors.

Senior Brody Schimpa was selected as First Team All-Conference. Schimpa averaged 19 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and 2.8 steals per game. He shot 85.5 percent from the free throw line and an impressive 38 percent from 3-point range.

Conor Solarek was selected as Second Team All-Conference. Sollarek was the team’s second-leading scorer, averaging eight points per game, and was the team’s defensive specialist.

Matt Anders was also selected as Second Team All-Conference. He averaged 7.1 points and led the team by shooting 61 percent from the floor. Blaise Crist earned an All-Conference Honorable Mention selection, averaging seven points per game with 2.6 assists and shot nearly 72 percent from the free throw line.
