Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

December 6, 1962 – February 28, 2025

Teresa Annette “TT” Gilliam, 62, of Cassopolis, died suddenly of natural causes in her home Friday, February 28, 2025

Her life began December 6, 1962 in Niles, Michigan born to Leon and Lillie Gilliam.

TT was one of a kind. She said it like it was and didn’t sugar coat anything. She cherished her family and the children in her community. She was front and center at all of the basketball games. All the kids knew she had candy for them. She coached volleyball, basketball, and Little League. She always kept busy, whether it was mowing, leaf blowing, or shoveling snow. TT was easy to talk to and was very reliable. No one knew her true age because she said she was in her twenties.

She was unapologetically TT.

TT will be greatly missed by family and friends. She leaves to mourn her passing and continue her legacy her beloved husband, Ricky Evans; daughter, Breana (Sean) Bowsher; son, Cliff (Heather) Hawkins; grandchildren, Ryley, Devin, Nola, Ryan; sisters, Sonya Dungey, Tanya (John) McKnight, brothers, Richard (Milana Bass) Lee, Leon (Jennifer) Gilliam, Robert (Peggy) Gilliam; nieces and nephews, Nikki, Adrian, Al, Deon, Philana, Tyler, Taylor, Ashley, Bobby, Adryanna, LaMarr, Shanice; several Godchildren; aunt, Jane (Leddrew) Smith; and host of great nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Natalie Davis; and great nephew, Alphonzo Lee, Jr.

Family and friends will gather Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 12:00 noon until time of service at 1:00 pm in Ross Beatty High School, 22721 Diamond Cove Street, Cassopolis, Michigan 49031.
