She came into this world September 26, 1942 in Dowagiac, Michigan, the second of three daughters born to Glen and Elizabeth (Townsend) Brunton.  As a child she loved to read, ride her bike, and play with neighborhood friends.

Butch and Glenyce maintained homes in Cassopolis, Dowagiac and Bonita Springs, Florida.  They officially retired in 2004 and settled in Granger, Indiana.

Glenyce loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, cooking, maintaining her homes, traveling, and Elvis.  She attended Elvis’ live shows many times and his music was always playing in her home and automobiles.  As an avid student of history, Glenyce was a wealth of information about her county, nation, and her family. Travel usually included trips to presidential homes, libraries, battlefields, or Graceland.
