LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Vote Walton for State Rep.

I am writing to endorse Larry Walton for the 59th District State Representative in Michigan. I express this endorsement as an independent moderate and have never had connections to a specific political party.

From 2016-2018 I had the pleasure of working in Saint Joseph County as Centreville’s Jr/Sr. High School Principal. During this time, I had the honor of working with Larry, as he is a member of the Centreville School board. I quickly found him to be a man of integrity and honesty. His commitment to give the students of Centreville the best educational experience possible is a strong indicator of how much he truly cares for those he serves. I trust Larry will always do what is right and in the best interest of his constituents.

Larry always seemed to ask the right questions. In doing so, he displayed a strong willingness to be involved and make a positive impact wherever he could. If this meant getting his hands dirty and doing the work himself, he would. I never found him to act above a situation or a need. He simply wants to help regardless of the difficulty that his help may afford him.

I believe Larry is the best fit for the 59th district because he does what he says and says what he means. Above all else, he is a good man who will fight for what is right and work for the betterment of all he serves.

I encourage your vote for Larry Walton in the upcoming republican primary and the general election in November.
