The Great Lakes Education Project is a bi-partisan, nonprofit advocacy organization supporting quality choices in public education for all Michigan students, and standing up for the talented public-school teachers who educate our state’s students. GLEP strongly supports efforts to improve academic achievement, increase accountability and empower parental choice in our schools.

We know that important reforms in Lansing that put students first — instead of big education bureaucracies — don’t happen without courageous leaders in the state legislature. That’s why we’re so proud to endorse state Rep. Brad Paquette for reelection this fall.

The Great Lakes Education Project is excited to stand with Rep. Paquette because he stands with Michigan’s kids. He knows that every youth is different and that they deserve schools that put them first, not the education bureaucracy. We hope others reading this will consider backing him and putting Michigan students first this November, too.
