Niles man dead following possible murder-suicide in St. Joseph County

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. — A Niles man is reportedly dead following a possible murder-suicide near Mishawaka Thursday morning, according to the St. Joseph County Police Department.

According to the department, police were dispatched to the 16400 block of Valley Trail near Mishawaka for a possible murder-suicide. Upon arrival, officers found the bodies of two men with fatal gunshot wounds and multiple firearms.

The victims have been identified as Brent Gregory, a 43-year-old who lived at the Valley Trail home, and Kenneth Hunt, a 43-year-old from Niles.

The case remains under investigation by the St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit.
