Friday, Southwestern Michigan College students prepared for graduation in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Friday morning, outside the SMC’s Dowagiac campus, packets containing diplomas/certificates, diploma covers, caps/gowns and honor cords filled 31 boxes. Those packets were delivered to students via a drive-through event to adhere to social distancing guidelines. Students and families were assisted by Registrar Steve Carlson.
