Berrien County reports one new COVID-19 death
SOUTHWEST MICHIGAN — COVID-19 has claimed the life of a centenarian in Berrien County.
Thursday, the Berrien County Health Department reported one new COVID-19 death, this time a woman over the age of 100 with underlying medical conditions. The county’s COVID-19 cases county is up to 606 with 49 deaths. The health department reported that of those cases, 449 have recovered.
Across county lines, Cass County has reported 80 cases, two deaths and 24 recoveries. Van Buren County reported 134 cases, six deaths and 41 recoveries.
In total, the state of Michigan has reported 56,014 cases, 5,372 deaths and 33,168 recoveries.
