Leo Allen Smith Sr., 73, of Cassopolis, died peacefully Saturday, May 16, 2020, in his residence.

He was born March 17, 1947, in Warsaw, Indiana, one of five children of George and Dorothy Smith Sr.

Leo will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his companion of 35 years, Wendy Michel; two daughters, Kimberly (Charles) Becker and Denice Everett; one son, Leo A. Smith Jr.; several grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia Ernsburger and Marsha Jean Robertson; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Carol Cradough; and one brother, George A. Smith Jr.

Family and friends will gather for a memorial service on a date and at a time to be announced when he will be accorded Military Honors.
