Berrien County reports 29 new COVID-19 cases

SOUTHWEST MICHIGAN — COVID-19 numbers reported Wednesday showed an increase in southwest Michigan.

Wednesday, the Berrien County Health Department reported an additional 29 confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the county’s total to date to 344. The county has an additional 171 presumed positive cases and 20 deaths. To date, 206 county residents have recovered from the virus.

In Cass County, 35 cases, two deaths and 10 recoveries have been reported.

Van Buren County reported 68 cases, two deaths and 15 recoveries.

Statewide, there have been 45,054 cases, 4,250 deaths and 15,659 recoveries to date.
