Barbara A. Albrecht, 84, of Niles, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2020, at her home.

She was born Feb, 9, 1936, in Buchanan, to the late Fred I. and Bernice (Wolkens) Best. Barbara graduated from Buchanan High School in 1953.

On May 19, 1953, she married Robert “Bob” Cline. He preceded her in death in 1971.

She married Robert Albrecht in March 26, 1973.

She drove a bus for Buchanan Schools and owned and operated a donut shop in Buchanan.

They enjoyed spending their winters in Ockechobee, Florida, for about 40 years.

She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Robert; son, Dale (Kathy) Cline, of Nappanee, Indiana; daughter, Carolyn (Mike) Aumsbaugh, of Kendallville, Indiana; brother, Dave (Bobby) Best, of Cassopolis; four grandsons, Brandon (Sarah) Aumsbaugh, Justin (Janae) Aumsbaugh, Eric Shepherd, Nathan (Ashley) Cline; six great-grandchildren, Daylyn Aumsbaugh, Tyler Aumsbaugh, Brennan Raines, Claire Aumsbaugh, Ethan Shepherd and Kenny Shepherd.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Bernice; first husband, Robert Cline; brothers, Donald, Elvin, Richard, Robert, Ralph and Albert Best; sisters, Ruth Harvel, Katherina Raber, Fern Best, Betrice Best and Marjorie Huebner.
