Robert E. Vosburgh, 96, of Dowagiac, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2020, at Lakeland Community Hospital, in Niles.

He was born on July 20, 1923, at his home to the late Harvey W. and Gertrude M. (West) Vosburgh.

Robert graduated from high school in New Carlisle, Indiana.

He was a farmer most of his life producing grain, soybeans and wheat. Robert enjoyed gardening, watching game shows, wrestling and westerns.

He was a life-long learner and enjoyed a daily crossword puzzle. Robert loved his family and always looked forward to time spent together.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Harold, Edward and Patricia Vosburgh.

Robert is survived by his children, Diane Vosburgh, Michael Vosburgh, of Dowagiac, and John Vosburgh, of Niles; four grandchildren; and his siblings, James (Dixie) Vosburgh, of Lawrence, Michigan, Carl Vosburgh, of Dowagiac, and Edna Lore, of Harrisburg, Arkansas.

Due to the current, unprecedented guidelines limiting public gatherings because of the COVID-19 virus, there will be a private family gathering on Monday at Brown Funeral Home, in Niles, followed by graveside services at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens.
