EDWARDSBURG — Though schools have been shut down for the remainder of the year school year due to COVID-19 concerns, Edwardsburg and Cassopolis students can still look forward to furthering their education by applying for scholarships.

The American Legion Post 365, Edwardsburg, is accepting applications for five $500 scholarships for high school seniors who are furthering their education by attending a college or trade school and who are related to a past or present military service member. Applications may be obtained through language teachers at Edwardsburg High School and Ross Beatty High School or at Edwardsburg churches Hope Methodist Church, Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Presbyterian Churche and on Facebook at American Legion Edwardsburg Post 365 and Edwardsburg VFW.
