BUCHANAN — A showdown between the co-Wolverine Conference South Division champions will highlight Friday night’s district championship games.

Edwardsburg and Three Rivers split their two division games with both teams winning on the road. Edwardsburg would go on to take the tiebreaker and won the Wolverine Conference championship outright.

The two will square off for the Division 2 district championship at Buchanan High School on Friday after defeating Berrien Springs and Niles respectively. Three Rivers edged the Vikings 47-45 in the first semifinal Wednesday night, while the Eddies blew out Berrien Springs 64-28.

Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tickets are $6 per person.

Over at Cassopolis, defending Division 3 district champion Brandywine made short work of Watervliet, winning 55-24 to advance to Friday night’s title game against Decatur, a 65-36 winner over host Cassopolis in the second semifinal on Wednesday.

Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tickets are $6 per person.
