Zeke M. Sims, 64, of Niles, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at home, with his family and close friends by his side.

Zeke was born on April 24, 1955, in South Bend, Indiana to the late Dunlap “Dunny” and Madge (Rohn) Sims.

He attended Gateway School in Berrien County. He was a participant in Special Olympics, where he medaled in several events. He was very active with the PACE adult care program. Zeke enjoyed sports, especially Notre Dame football. He was a very gentle soul, and everyone he knew was a friend.

Zeke is survived by his special friends, Lu Ellen Brown, of Niles; Judy Moses of Niles; Cari Betke of Niles; David Brown of Niles; aunt, Kay Campbell, of Paint Rock, Texas; along with several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Zeke will be laid to rest with his parents in Paint Rock, Texas at a later date.
