CASSOPOLIS — This weekend, the halls of Lewis Cass Intermediate School District’s Brookside Learning Center in Cassopolis were filled to the brim as families from across the county visited to get into the Christmas spirit.

Saturday, the Great Start Cass County Parent Coalition hosted its third annual Breakfast with Santa event, which featured visits from pageant royalty, photos with Santa, live music, a pancake breakfast and developmentally appropriate arts and crafts. The event was free and open to the public.

Organizers said the event was a success and that nearly 500 people RSVPed to the annual event.
