Kathy L. Manley, 65, of Edwardsburg, passed away Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019, at her home.

A celebration of life service will be hosted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019, at Clark Chapel, 405 Center St., Dowagiac. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in Kathy’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Kathy was born June 15, 1954, in New Castle, Indiana, to Donald and Roxanna (Cooper) Parrish. On June 12, 1971, she married the love of her life, Ricky Manley, in Dowagiac. Kathy graduated from Dowagiac High School, in 1972, and gained employment with Valley Door Company and later Robinson Wood Products. Kathy retired as a truck driver from Quality Wood Products in 2016. Kathy loved Alan Jackson music, cooking for her family and tending to her gardens. She was a loyal fan of Peyton Manning and Indianapolis Colts and the University of Michigan Wolverines. She especially cherished the time spent with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Kathy is survived by her daughters, Stacey Ostrom and Dana Barnett, both of Edwardsburg; six grandchildren, Katelynn Ostrom, Krista Ostrom, Khloe Metzger, Seth Barnett, Dylan Barnett and Madison Barnett; great-grandson, Landon Hajdaj; siblings, Donna (Brian) Wine, of Sulphur Springs, Indiana, and Mike Strome, of Edwardsburg; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Rob and Paula Manley, Mark Manley, Brad and Merri Manley, Pamela Manley and Lynda Manley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky, in 1979; her parents; two brothers, Jerry and Rodney Parrish; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Sharon Manley.
