June 14, 1947 — Nov. 1, 2019

Kenneth Gordon Williams Sr., 72, passed away at home on Friday, Nov. 1, 2019.

He was born on June 14, 1947, to Kenneth and Dortha (Carpenter) Williams in Niles.

On Feb. 9, 1966, he married Susan Ann (Davis). They were blessed with 53 years of true love and friendship.

They were also blessed with three children, Amy Sue (Nelson) Williams, Kenny Williams Jr., and Christopher Neil Williams.

Ken was in the construction business for 45 years. He was well-known for his excellent craftsmanship as well as his honesty and integrity. He took great pride in his work. He also built two homes for his family and passed his skills on to his godson and grandsons.

Ken spent his life focused on his family. He did everything he could to make them happy. He was a big kid at heart, who loved doing anything with his kids and later his grandkids. They only had to ask and he would make time for them. He was rewarded for this by the great love they showed for him. They will miss him deeply.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents Ken and Dortha Williams; father and mother-in-law, Robert and Betty Davis; and brother-in-law Robin Davis; sisters, Sharon Wirick and Karon Howard; grandson, Joshua; and sons, Christopher Neil Williams in November 2013, and Kenny Williams Jr., in March 2014.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Ann (Davis) Williams; daughter, Amy Sue (Nelson) Williams; grandchildren, Cody Nelson (Lacy), Nick Nelson (Kristen), Anneke Wagley (Matt), Hannah Williams (Adam), Sydney Williams (Brent) and Brooke Williams; 12 great-grandchildren; godson and nephew, Dennis Williams Jr., (Michelle); sisters, Dottie Shoptaw (Bob) and Tammy Williams; brother, Dennis Williams Sr. (Rae); daughters-in-law, Lynn (Williams) Zimmerman, (Bo) and Stacy (Williams) Ballinger, (Gabe) Connie (Neucks) Knowles (Renny) and Haley and Madi Crocker, whom he loved as family.

A very special thank-you to Dennis and Rae Williams and Connie Knowles for always, always being there and helping us through this heartbreaking time in our lives.

Ken, you will be greatly missed. You were the very best part of me. I will love you forever, Susan.
