Miss Edwardsburg Pageant to take place Saturday

EDWARDSBURG — The Edwardsburg Youth Scholarship Program, a Blossomtime affiliated organization, will have its pageant at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Edwardsburg Middle School Performing Arts Center. Blossomtime’s theme this year is “The Greatest Show.” The Edwardsburg Youth Scholarship Program’s theme will be “Oz the Great and Powerful.”

Competing in the Miss and Mr. division will be:

• Contestant 1: Alexis Swihart, 17. Her parents are Steve and Dannielle Swihart.

• Contestant 2: Sadie Kunze, 17. Her parents are Gregory Kunze and Nicola Vascil.

• Contestant 3: Caitlin Ziesmer, 17. Her parents are Jason and Katherine Ziesmer.

• Mr. contestant 1: Tyler Dahms, 17. His parents are Patrick and Kristine Dahms.

Competing in the teen division will be:

• Contestant 1: Melanie Kiell, 13. Her parents are Joe and Denise Kiell.

• Contestant 2: Emma Shewmaker, 15. Her parents are Joe Stockwell and Phylicia Scott.

• Contestant 3: Jillian Scupham, 12, Her parents are R. Andrew Scupham and Heidi Moyer.

• Contest 4: Paige Swearinger, 13. Her parents are Chad and Kim Burger.

• Mr. Teen contestant 1: Jacob Edwards, 14. His parents are Chad and Teresa Edwards.

• Mr. Teen Contestant 2: Caleb Shewmaker, 13. His parents are Joe Stockwell and Phylicia Scott.

Competing in the junior teen division is:

• Contestant 1: Adeline Laporte, 9. Her parents are Shawn Laporte and Megan Humbarger

Competing in the princess division are:

• Contestant 1: Merida McNatt, 6. Her parents are Donald and Christina McNatt.

• Contestant 2: Alice Huffman, 6. Her parents are Andrew and Chelsea Huffman.

• Contestant 3: Vanessa Garcia, 7. Her parents are Josh Garcia and Michelle Hurtt.

• Contestant 4: Emma Whitmer, 8. Her parents are Keith and Michelle Whitmer.
