DOWAGIAC — A sunny, but chilly day brought the crowds to downtown Dowagiac Saturday for the city’s annual Under the Harvest Moon Festival.

Hosted by the Greater Dowagiac Chamber of Commerce, the fall festival featured an open-air market place, petting zoo, dancing, food vendors, live music and more. For the first time ever this year, the festival hosted a blacksmith.

Vickie Philipson, the chamber’s program director, said she was happy with Saturday’s turnout for the festival and that everyone she saw at the festival was having a good time. (Leader photos/SARAH CULTON)
