James “Jim” Glenn Burch, 73, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2019, after struggling bravely with critical health issues for the past six months.

Jim is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joyce Burch; son, Jeffery (Melisa) Burch; grandchildren, Jeffery II and Alana.

Jim was born and raised in his beloved Dowagiac and will return there for his final resting place. In keeping with Jim’s wishes no public services will be hosted.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the special people at St. Joseph Reginal Medical Center who were so kind and compassionate during Jim’s final days.
