NILES — Host Niles picked up its first victory of the season by defeating Mattawan 28-7 in its homecoming game Friday night.
Across town, Brandywine was blowing out Wyoming Lee 63-0 for its homecoming contest. The Bobcats are now 4-0 on the season.
At Dowagiac, the Chieftains were defeated by Division 4 No. 1-ranked Paw Paw 40-14.
Edwardsburg was a 54-7 winner over Vicksburg on the road as the Eddies improved to 4-0.
Buchanan dropped to 0-4 with a 42-7 loss to host Constantine.
