Ronald Curtis Churchill, 77, of Grand Blanc, died Monday, Aug.26, 2019, at Wellbridge of Fenton.

A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, 2019, at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.

Memorial visitation is 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, 2019, until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Cremation has taken place. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13, 2019, in South Wayne Cemetery in Dowagiac.

Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Ronald was born in Dowagiac, on Oct. 5, 1941, the son of Eugene and Edith (Curtis) Churchill.

Ronald proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was a Michigan State Police Trooper with the Flint, Michigan Post.

Ronald was a member of the Elks and Moose Lodge and the Troopers Association. He enjoyed spending winters in Florida, golfing and loved spending time with his family.

Surviving are children, Kurt (Mechelle) Churchill, Jason (Kristen) Churchill, Samantha Christos and Sarah (William) Larsen; his beloved granddaughters and grandsons and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Robert and Fred Churchill.
