Peggy Louise Mae Anders, 76, of Dowagiac, passed away at her sister’s home on Wednesday, July 24, 2019.

Peggy was born on Nov. 24, 1942, to the late Delbert and Mary (Rife) Anders in Dowagiac. After graduating from high school, Peggy went on to join her business partner, Charlotte Vinnedge, in the band “The Luved Ones” which later became “The Electric Lady.” Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; business partner; and siblings, Charlotte Moore, Marshall Anders, Fern Welch, and Kathleen Watson.

Peggy is survived by her siblings, Delbert (Lillian) Anders, Melvin (Sheila) Anders, and Patricia (Carl) Sibley, all of Dowagiac and several nieces and nephews.

Peggy will be laid to rest at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens in a private graveside service. Condolences, photos, and memories may be left for the family at BrownFuneralHomeNiles.com.
