Niles Community Health Center welcomes new dentist

NILES — Madison Mick, DMD has joined the staff of Niles Community Health Center Dental.

Mick, originally from Minnesota, received her bachelor of arts from College of Saint Benedict in Saint Joseph, Minnesota. She continued her education to earn a doctorate of dental medicine from Roseman University of Health Sciences in South Jordan, Utah.

Prior to her career in NCHC Dental, Mick completed two externships, one of which was at another community health center.

“I truly enjoy working in the community health center setting, where patients have access to high quality services most would otherwise go without,” Mick said. “I believe everyone deserves access to dental care and oral health education, and I look forward to helping patients of NCHC Dental achieve a healthier and happier smile.”

Mick began seeing patients at NCHC Dental at 122 Grant St., Niles, earlier this month. The dental office is open from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and offers dental services to patients who do not have dental insurance, are covered by Michigan Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Delta Dental.
