Jean D. Williams

Jean was born Sept. 6, 1937, in Chicago, to Arthur and Hazel (Ritman) Williams. She attended Lindblom High School where she was the class valedictorian at graduation in 1955. Moving later to Lombard, Illinois with her family, she enjoyed a successful career with Illinois Bell for more than 30 years. She retired with her dear friend Harriet White in Dowagiac. Her wonderful years in her Magician Lake home were filled with happiness. It was there that her family and many, many friends gathered to enjoy time together. She also wintered in Port Charlotte, Florida, and enjoyed her many friends and family members there as well.

Jean was a wonderful sister, aunt and friend to many who had the precious opportunity to know her. Her gracious and loving spirit will never be forgotten.

Jean is survived by her sister, Linda (Ken) Eckert, of Florida; nephew, Tom LaJeunesse; niece, Jeanne (Wade) Marton; great-nieces and nephews, Danielle LaJeunesse, Mackenzie (Fiance Justin Heartman) Marton; Kaylie LaJeunesse, Samuel Marton, and Emma LaJeunesse; great-great-nephew and niece, Lucas Boyd and Elena Boyd and many dear friends who she loved greatly. She was preceded in death by her parents.
