NILES — A pair of Niles players and one Edwardsburg player earned Division 2 honorable mention All-State from the Michigan High School Softball Coaches Association.

The Vikings’ Taylor Altergotte and Brooke Timm were named to the honorable mention portion of the All-State team, while the Eddies’ Ashley Pion was also selected.

Lakeshore’s Laney Mean and Sierra Ciesielski earned first-team Division 2 All-State.

In Division 3, Coloma’s Megan Koenigshoff was first-team All-State and Megan Neubecker was named to the honorable mention portion of the squad.

Marcellus’s McKenna Rogers and River Valley’s Ella Olson and Madison Vollman were all first-team picks in Division 4.

The Wildcats also had Joleigh Small earn honorable mention, as did River Valley’s Tiffany Hyatt and Emma Springer.

Bridgman had a pair of honorable mention selections in Kaylee Shuler and Natalie McNeil.
