NILES – The Niles Art Association will meet at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4 in the Niles District Library’s community room. The association’s guest speaker is Tom Fehlner, a retired chemistry professor who worked at Notre Dame University for 41 years. He took up painting and drawing after retirement, concentrating primarily on painting and drawing people.

The focus of his presentation is on the art of John Everett Millais and William Morris, titled “Pre-Raphaelites: Examples for the Impressionists?” The association said more information on the event can be found at nilesartassoc.webs.com or by emailing nilesart@gmail.com.
