Wilton Wood “Bill” Wyman, Jr., 75, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, surrounded by family in his home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lorraine Florence (Wrobeleski) Wyman and Wilton Wood Wyman Sr.

He is survived by his sisters, Diane Ray, of Dodgeville, Wisconsin, Cindi Chester, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Cheryl (Dan) Razak, of Jackson, Michigan; and his brother, David (Nancy) Wyman of LaVille, Wisconsin.

He leaves behind a legacy of joy within his family: his three daughters, their spouses and nine grandchildren. His daughters and their spouses: Michelle (Marty) Scott, of Granger, Indiana, Teresa (Joe) Ferry, of Fishers, Indiana, and Amy Tarwacki, of Bradenton, Florida, are forever thankful for his love and support. His greatly loved grandchildren: Dylan, Savannah and Mikaela Scott, Cole and Nicholas Ferry, Broc (Becca), Ridge, Chase and Mattux Tarwacki; and his beloved dog, Ginger, a golden retriever who will greatly miss him.

“Captain Bill” was “Pure Michigan” and lived his life there. He loved his country, its flag and the communities he lived in up and down the Lake Michigan shoreline. Bill loved life on the water having had several boats on the big lake sharing time with friends and family. One of his favorite holidays being the 4th of July, where his grandchildren would line up on shore or the back of grandpa’s boat to watch the fireworks.

It was Bill’s wish to be cremated. McGann Hay funeral home in Granger, Indiana are making the arrangements.

A Memorial is planned outdoors for 10 a.m. on June 22, 2019, at Bill’s home, 69551 Fox Crossing, Edwardsburg. Lunch will be served afterwards.
